To show respect I try to be nice to people always. If I open a door I make sure to hold it for the person behind me and I also say please and thank you for everything I do. Also if someone doesn’t know what they are doing on the football field or basketball court I offer them help.
A time I’ve failed to show respect might have been when i was upset or angered I may had come off disrespectful in a way. Like say I was having a bad day and then someone said hi to me I might not say anything back or say it in a tone.
Someone might show lack of respect for themselves by the way they carry themselves or treat their body. They might act a certain way which can be seen as rude or disgusting. It can also be seen as embarrassing.
No i cannot think of someone who consistanly shows that kind of behavior. I do not play that close attention to someone who would act that way neither do I care about how they act. Everyone acts a different way and if thats what they choose then thats what they have to live with.
In my life I know quite a few people who show respectful behaivor and they are very happen in life and everyone wants to be around then. It has a positive affect on their lives because having a good, respectful behavior will do that for a person.

  4. There are plenty of things you can do to show respect. For example, just holding the door open for someone shows respect. Another way is using manners. Yes, I can think of a time where i failed to be respectful. One time in school teachers were saying i did something wrong when i didn't and i started freaking out and cursing at them. There are many ways someone might show lack of respect to himself/herself. For example, people that give themselves scars, cuts, and suicidal things aren't respecting their body . Giving up is not respecting yourself, its not respecting your mindset for your goals in life Yes, i can think of someone that always has a disrespectful behavior. It affects a lot in their life but then again it doesn't cause it's their life to live to it's what they choose to do. No, i can't think of someone that is always respectful. I say this because no one is perfect. Once in everyone's life they were disrespectful. But if i did the effect would be the same as my answer for question 4. Also, it just gives them a better chance to get respect back from others.

  5. The things I do to show respect is holding doors for people, helping elderly and other people if they are in need, being nice, and being thankful for things. I always hold doors for people because it's just rude if you don’t and i’m always very helpful with people’s problems and if they are really in need. I am usually always respectful but one time I failed being respectful is when it was Christmas and I didn’t get what I exactly wanted and I was a brat for it and just was giving attitude to my family. A way a girl or boy can show a lack of respect in themselves is having a low self of esteem and when you have a low self of esteem, you ruining yourself and everyone else around you. I can think of many people who are very disrespectful to people and I feel that when they get older that they will have a bad life because if you're respectful now than you’ll never change and will never learn. I also know many people who are very respectful and will go far in life when they are older because they know how to treat people.

    1. Respect means a lot more than people think, having manners and respect could easily get you far in life. It'll keep you happy and help you be true to others.

  6. To show respect you should always use your manners. Showing your manners to people that are older, same age, or even younger is just the polite way to go about something. If you don't use your manners most people will give you an attitude because they think you are being disrespectful. Which is always understandable because when you don't use your manners you are considered being disrespectful.
A time where i failed to be respectful was in my spanish class last year. My teacher was being very demanding about something and didn't give me a second to breathe so i got really aggravated with her. So i started to give her an attitude and she was giving me one back. We both weren't very fond of eachother and we always gave eachother a hard time.
Someone could show them self a lack of respect in a couple different ways. They could harm them self or put themselves in danger. They could be extremely hard on them self, or they could let something bother them and let it eat away at them. They could also just seem to not care about their health or anytype of care for them self.
I can think of someone who constantly disrespects them self and other people around them. They are setting a bad path and a bad habit for them self, it is showing them that they can get away with being disrespectful. If no one steps up to them to kind of give them a wake up call that you can't always get away with it, it might show them that they can't always act that way because it is going to get them nowhere.
I can think of someone who shows respectful behavior towards them self and towards other people. It is always the right thing to do or the right way to go around things. Showing respect to others will make them have respect for you back. It shows that you are mature and understand the right way to go about things.

    1. I completely agree with your response. There are many people who respects themselves and others. There are also people who show themselves a lack of respect in different ways that may harm themselves which is really sad. I agree to the part when you said "If no one steps up to them to kind of give them a wake up call that you can't always get away with it, it might show them that they can't always act that way because it is going to get them nowhere."

    2. i agree with nicole. everything starts with the manners that you show towards people. Also you are right about if you don't use manners people will give you a attitude. people feel that they are better then everyone else soo they demand respect. you just have to give those people what they want.

  7. For the first question how to show respect is very easy. One way is to listen when someone is talking to you. Also when you see someone struggling to do something help them or just show them how to do it. Or if it is the other way around and after they are done helping you say thank you. Of course you’re always not going to be respectful so one time that I wasn’t is when I made fun of somebody with my friends because they were different from us. It was wrong of us to do this to him and laugh at him. This was when I was in middle school and I was reckless and not really thinking. Well not showing respect is a horrible thing to do there is something that is on the same level and that is not having respect for yourself. Sometimes it is giving reasons for your own actions. For an example is that you drop something and you say ” I am sorry I am very clumsy”. I hate when people say these things because they’re putting themselves down when they know they’re better.Another way is your body language, when you have your arms cross and are really defensive it shows that you don’t want to be approached or have any connection with other people. I can think of multiple people that always have a disrespectful behavior. The effects that it was on their live is not really surprising. They are always in trouble and think people are always against them but they really aren't. It is really horrible. There a very few people that I know that always shows respectful behavior. One of them is my best friend. The effects it has on his life is that people always want him to help them since he is really nice and teachers love him for it.

    1. I completely agree with you. You should never disrupt someone while talking because it's rude. Helping a friend or someone also demonstrate respectful behavior because it shows that you guys have each other's back. I also agree with the part when you said you have a few friends that are respectful because so many people are respectful and few people that are respectful. I hope you also find a friend who are respectful.

  8. I show respect to other people by saying something without hurting other people’s feelings. It is very disrespectful to say something mean to other people. I also help other people to show respect. One time I failed to do this is when I was very angry at my friend and said something mean to him. My friend and I didn’t talk to each other for a week until I said sorry to him. One of my classmate consistently demonstrate disrespectful behavior. He demonstrate disrespectful behavior because he always makes fun of other people. This have an effect on his life by being disliked by other people. My friend consistently demonstrate respectful behavior. He demonstrate respectful behavior because he doesn’t make fun of other people and he think of other people’s feelings before saying something to them.this have an effect on his life by being liked by other people

There are many ways to show respect. To show respect I try to always be nice to people and use my manners. Some examples of how I show respect is by, holding the door for someone, always saying please and thank you, helping others and, ect. I always try to be polite to others, but there was a time I failed to show respect. This only happens when someone makes me upset. I try to control it and ignore it, but when it gets to a point where they’re just doing too much and being so disrespectful to me, I will start to get really annoyed and start giving them an attitude. Those are only the times where I fail to show respect. It's not everyday because If you’re nice and show respect to that person they will be too.

Someone could show a lack of respect to themselves in many different ways. They may show it by the way they treat their body or themselves. People may harm themselves or act rude.

I can think of someone who disrespects themselves by going through the wrong path and setting bad examples for others. They put their life in danger and they may not notice and be putting others in danger too.

I can think of someone who shows respect. The way they show it is by caring for others and being polite. They show respect for themselves and do the right thing to be safe and have respect for themselves and others. There are many people who do the right thing, have a goal are very mature and go far in life.

    1. I agreed with you people sometimes will treat you like how they treat themselves. Also I understand people get in our nerves and that is why we say things that we don't mean it.Just people treat each other good and all will be fine.

  10. All this will start that if people do not respect do not expect a good answer or action. I will treat like the way you have to be treated. I will make you my friend and love you with all my heart. There are lots of reasons why I will failed this. One that person not respecting me. Second me not liking you because of what you did. If that person mess it up with me with me doing nothing to you that is bad. A person will show itself respect by loving themselves. People can not say ohh I am ugly. Everyone in this world it is beautiful. It does not matter that you are a different color of skin just love yourself like how you are.
My little siblings they are terrible. They have such a bad bad bad behavior. They say stuff they should not say and that's unrespectful. That change their lives because now their mom would not toys for them.
I can not think of someone because all people in someway unrespect people. Personally I am not a bad person but sometimes I am unrespectful but always there is a reason. People need to respect one another because you don not if you are in a situation and only the people you treat bad pass by and they does not help you because you were mean and selfish.

  11. 1)To show respect I do what I’m told. Some people do other things but to me that is the most respect you can show. It lets the other people see that your are listening to them.

2)The time i didnt do this is at home almost everyday. I dont listen to my mom a whole lot. She always asked to ask about 12 times before i do it.

3)People may show a lack of respect to themselves because they never believe in themselves. People doubt themselves if they are in a losing situation.

    4) Somebody who disrespects another is my brother to my mom. He is never doing anything to help her unless he gets something in return. This can affect his life because he will do it at a job and get fired.

5)Someone who shows great respect can be anyone. They would need to change their attitude with some people. THis can allow their life to excel forward to something new.
