My ideal school would look like a school. I would make the inside of the school look nice with the appropriate things. For example i would have the library actually not have books , instead ipads with a bunch of books on it so a student could sign it out . The only thing is i would have them bring it back once a week to look at it and see how the condition is.Another thing i would do is have a spot for study hall and a spot for students to just relax. It would consist of couches and chairs and a T.V . I would also have a cafeteria with different sections like one for subs, snacks, regular food served, and a spot for breakfast. I wouldn’t split the room up I’d let people sit with who they want. I would also have Two separate gyms freshman and sophomores in one and juniors and seniors in the other. I would make sure that they had air conditioning in both of them too. I would make the classrooms look organized and be organized. Id make sure the books were always up to date and replace them every 5 years. Id make sure the desks where comfortable for students and teachers as well. I would make sure that all of the teachers projectors work and I’d make sure the school was always clean. I wouldn’t have a teacher by the bathroom.The students would just have to scan their key and they can go. Lastly I would make sure the teachers are teachers you actually like. I believe if you don’t like the teacher you won't listen to them or learn. Id want to make sure that each student is treated fairly and equally at the school for their education and just in general.
ReplyDeleteHow my ideal school would look like. My ideal school will be two stories made out of brick. It will have the same format as Central Regional High School but two stories. Every class will have one huge glass window. It will also have a basement for storage. Each desk will have an ipad built into it. You will also be given a chromebook to keep for the year. Each room has an elevator. And the elevator doesn't just go up and down it has every room number in it so u can go class to class in the elevator. The total number of classrooms is 322. The teacher will have the choices of a chalkboard or a whiteboard and a tv or a projector. The school will have three gyms and five locker rooms. The extra two are for boys sports players and the other is for girls sports players. It will also have its own parking garage. The busses will be super cars but in bus form.
ReplyDeleteWhat the classrooms will look like. Each desk has its own little room with a tv so you can hear what the teachers are saying. The room will even have a bathroom. The library has 5000 books in it. There are five different wings LA,Math,Science,Social Studies, and Gym. School Starts at 8:00 and ends at 2:00.
What the the outside looks like. For recess there will be 10 slides, 5 strait ,and 5 twisty. There will be 30 swings. Two monkey bar sets. And a castle. There will be two basketball courts, a wallball court, a soccer field, football field and a baseball field. For sports players there is a practice field and a game field for each sport. The practice field uses grass and the game field is turf with a track around it. That is what my ideal school will look like.
I really like that idea, It could definitely benefit students in the long run.

DeleteMy ideal school building would have classrooms with tools that can help students with all kinds of learning abilities. Kids with different learning strategies, like watching or moving around for example, will have their own rooms. Teachers could have a better idea of working with them since it’s one learning strategy, so it’ll be easier to help each student. Tools for each learning strategy will be in the specified classroom. Kids in these rooms will have better understanding by learning the way they are best with.
ReplyDeleteCommon areas would have lots of space, so nobody feels uncomfortable incase someone has Claustrophobia. Lots of space gives lots of freedom in the area, and less pushing and shoving. Smaller common areas would be helpful for those who have Enochlophobia, the fear of crowds or crowded areas.
A common room, such as a library, would have books of all kind. Manga, Comic Books, life stories and much more would be located here. A room would be connected here for computers so incase there is noise in the library, the door and walls will block out the sound. On the walls would be posters with nice, happy sayings to encourage people to read books, as they could just find something they like.
A Cafeteria would have the casual look, nothing too extra. There could be a few decorations here and there to make the place look more alive.
Classrooms would have normal chairs and desks. A few posters would also make the room light up a bit.
A gym room would of course be large. Doors leading outside as well as light to come through windows similar to our gym. Maybe a good air conditioner could come in handy here, as gyms are normally very hot. The locker rooms remain the same, but maybe dressing rooms inside of them incase someone doesn’t feel comfortable with the others.
Lockers also remain the same, both in the school and locker rooms, but with custom locks. They could contain a codeword, voice recognition, a special word or a remembered code of choice. It would take less time to open them and have more kids be on time.
Outdoor spaces would have really beautiful looks, and would be large. Plants and some flowers growing. Maybe a garden as well. Maybe some small animals could be living in the large space, sort of like how we have one now with our own turtle in the garden. This could help with people who want to start gardening or those who want to learn about wildlife.
Discipline, however, would remain pretty much the same. No abusing rules or anything like that. Teachers will remain watching over the student’s behavior. Older students should set an example to younger students.
My ideal school building would have many functions for the students to enjoy. My school building would have many special ideas to help the students with their everyday school life. It would prepare them for the real world. For one my school would be set up like a college. It would have 8 different buildings, each one being something different. English , history, math, and science would all be in different buildings. In the other three buildings there would be Law study, real world classes like learning to pay taxes and other things that you will need to know after school is over in one building. In another one there would be a break room type building. It would have many food places and little shops like McDonald's, Taco bell, etc. In the 7th building it would include arts, such as music and art, but including much more. Lastly in the 8th building it would be a study building. Everyone gets their own private desk area. You would have a desk, chair, paper, and pens. An AC and heater are included. You would have an hour lunch and free period. You would also get all the help you would need from your teachers. There would also be an online program where the teachers taught the lesson in more detail. All students would be able to join in any program they wanted to. Every student gets equal rights to everything. In this school the classrooms would have everything they would need to teach such as paper. The desk would be many long tables. To me, this is the perfect school to go to.
ReplyDeleteHow would i design my ideal school. I would first start by making the pipelines and all that stuff. Then i would start working on the structure. How big the classrooms are gonna be and how big the hallways are gonna be. Once we're done with the structure i would go to the roof, and put in solar panels and air condition units for the classrooms. After the roof was finished i could go classroom to classroom. Depending on the classroom. Like the science room would have tables that would have stuff for experiments and there would be a shower in there in case anything went wrong. Or eye wash for stuff that goes in there eye. And english classroom would have stuff that help students with their english like, Like tablets with books on them for students. Math classes would have special stuff for just math. And History would have there own special stuff as well. Each subject would have would have there own chromebooks. And like all the other like tv production, woodshop would have their equipment they needed same for art and Rotc. And the breeze way would have tvs for kids to watch wall they sit out there or eat lunch out there. Everything else would stay the same. Expect the gyms. I would put a huge gym in. For all types of sports like a basketball court baseball field like indoor one same for football and soccer. With a huge glass ceiling. And there would be a track inside. There would also be a big auditorium for play, assemblies. And there would be a huge power source of wifi for all the students to use.
ReplyDeleteI think James’s ideal school would be really cool. He went into detail on how he would build the school. He would also have chrome books for each class to make it easier. And he would build a huge gym so you can play sports even if it’s cold outside. That’s why I think James’s ideal school would be really cool.
DeleteHow would you design your ideal school building. I would design my school to be high tech with computers everywhere and each student would get there own laptop that can be used for school only. My school would also use escalators insted of stairs. The classrooms of my school design would be the same as a normal class room but just with high tech stuff like smart boards,smart T.V..The hallways of my school would be huge and have a bus thats takes students to there next class but if you wanna walk there will be a walking path you can take.The outdoor spaces of my school would have grass and flowers and trees and things to sit on like chairs and benches.I think my design of school would help students wanna go to school in morning by making it fun.I also belive that providing students with computers in every class they can look up how or what to do on a class work or homework.

DeleteIf i were to desgin my own school building i would make it a bit different than our school. I think it would be cool for the here of the colors to be blue and yellow and every brick wall would be one of those colors. The class periods would be the same and the hours would be the same too. But the teachers would be much less harsh and the rules are going to be stretched cause if students feel more free than they won't act out as much. They will work from bell to bell and the kids will listen. So they will get all there work done in school so after school they won't have any homework or anything like that. The only thing they would have to do after school is study for a test that would be coming up. But other than that they would have the option to join any sports teams or clubs that the school provides. All the clubs and sports that central has. But on every holiday there is my school will have off and you don't have to make it up in the summer unless you are failing that class. We would also have pep rally's and fun stuff like that too.inlike the structuring of our school so it would basically look like our schoo but with blue and gold. And I wouldn't be the principal but if the principle needs to give punishments or changes to the students or schoo they would have to ask me first because I would own the schoo. That's what my school would look like if I were to design it myself.

ReplyDeleteIf i ever designed a school I would make it easier for students to learn better and not get distracted by anything.The classrooms would have individual glass boxes with tiny tvs in it,so when you come into class you would sit in one and u learn on the tv and its sound proof so u cant hear any noise and they can't hear you.The teacher does the work on the board while u watch it on the little tv,and can focus on the teacher and understand everything he/she is teaching.If you have a question u press a button and the assistant teacher will come and help you.Then during lunch i would let all the students have lunch together but by grade for 45min,so they have time to interact.The outside of the school would be where students sit to eat but there is a glass around the sitting area but there would be windows so they would have fresh hair and not have to be caved in and feeling trapped.
Just like any other school I’d have placement of a lower and upper floor. The bottom floor would consist of the Main office as you enter, down a long walk way there would be a grouping type room that connects to the upstairs classrooms and other hallways dedicated to certain subjects. In that lobby type room it would be spacious, with seating areas and tables. The two hallways connecting to the lobby area would be dedicated to mainly Math and Science, with a third adjoining hallway leading down to either the gymnasium or a lunchroom. The upstairs would consist of the last few subject, World History, and Language Arts. The upstair section will also be home to multiple club associated rooms where they would hold their own meetings throughout the weekday.
ReplyDeleteEach classroom will be fitted, and equipped with comfortable seating as well as larger tables in place of desks. This would allow easier partnership eliminating the issue of “Who’ll be my partner for this project?” question that is asked every time someone is sitting alone at a single seater desk. The larger tables would just provide more room for the student sitting at the desk, including the person sitting next to them. Depending on each wing the classrooms would be significantly different from one another. For example, the History wing would have historic paintings, banners, or posters. While the Language Arts wing would display books, and possible poems or famous writings. The Gymnasium would be fairly large in order to hold all the students in case of an emergency. Inside there would be four exits towards the outside, and two leading into the hallway back into the lobby area. The Gym will have school inspired banners, including anything else you may think a gym will acquire. The lunchroom will have large tables of various sizes, with multiple customary areas such as an area designed for making your own lunch, pizza, or sandwich.

And want to get up and come to school every day! My doors would have so many different prints on their hearts, and maybe pink zebra print colors. So many different
I would design my ideal school building by making it 2 floors and wings like we have here because it makes it so much easier than having to be looking for the room number on the first day of school. The classrooms would have plenty of quotes just so every time the students seem down they can have a quote to look at and motivate them to work hard and do better in life that you go to school so the rest of your life you have a good job and have a good life instead of taking the low route. Also the classrooms would have headphones with good music but also the music would turn lower when the teacher is speaking and then being able to have a little game to play when you had finished your work and had some spare time while waiting for the rest of the students to finish meaning it would want to give you a reason to finish your work. The common areas like library i would make it big and have plenty of computers and space so study hall can go on i would mostly provide wood and carpet mainly because wood looks really nice and carpet in some areas just to give it a different feel mainly the inside chill spot would be for lunch if you don't want to hear all the noise you can sit outside in the hallway with tables like the breezeway. Also i would have casual outside spaces with trees and grass and a walkway just to get through the school quicker so no one could have an excuse from being late.
ReplyDeleteIf i had owned my own school the layout of the building would be at its best. In my school there would be one main entrance where you have to sign in. Also many other quick ways in and out of the building. There would be multiple classrooms for all different kinds of subjects and clubs. Students would have 4 minutes in between all classes or clubs to report to your next one. There is a total of 11 periods in the day. The classrooms will provide pens or pencils to a student that needs it, also will provide any kind of paper you need.
ReplyDeleteThe teachers in the classrooms will be very understanding and helpful toward the students. Teachers are allowed to give homework or not and whatever they are doing in class. They can also write you up if you are being disrespectful toward anyone or for a fight and many other obvious reasons. The teacher will always try his or her best with a lesson in class if anyone has trouble learning it they will stay after and help you out there and also show you a little more attention during class.
The attendance would be a maximum of 18 days absent, after that you will lose credits after every absent and there would be a good chance that your parents would get a fine depending on absents. If you are late to school itself you will get a detention for skipping class, depending on how late you are is up to the student.
This is my layout of the school and how it would work even explaining teachers and attendance.
I would design my ideal school building like all white because that is my favorite color and I think that color would make it look peaceful and a good place to concentrate. I would like if the rooms were big and have big white boards , eat outside everyday in lunch time. I would like teachers to not give homework in the weekends, have delicious foods in the cafeteria, have free lunch and I would like the school to be really big.
