Henry Ford once said "Failure is simply the opportunity t begin again, this time more intelligently."
*That do you think this quote means?
*How does it relate to an experience in your own life?

  1. Henry Ford, was the man who made the worlds first auto-mobile he had a brilliant mind and set of hands. This quote "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligent."
To me this quote is understood to mean failure is a mistake and when you fail you should take that as an opportunity to fix youre mistakes an retry and work at what you want to do until you complete that task. Finally, Henry Ford was a man who failed plenty of times, but throughout all the times he failed he learned that when you fail you should not just give up get back up brush it off and try again. Do not let one failure put you down.

  2. "Failure is simply the opportunity to began again, this time more intelligent" was told by Henry Ford. I believe what he means that it is okay to fail and retry. There is no one that can make something happen on there first try. In order to make something work it will take time and many retakes. This time more intelligent means that you already know what not to do and what you should do. You're not going to do to the same thing you know it is not going to work. I can relate to this quote because I always fail and retry. One time I had to do a project about how to make a paper tower without using a lot of tapes with my friends. We always end up failing until I had noticed we kept doing the same thing over and over. Then I had tried some thing different and kept on failing ,but I had finally made it stand up still. I kept on failing but I changed up what I was doing and I made it work.

I believe that this quote means to me that if we fail we will have another opportunity to try again. People always give up after they fail because they think they aren’t good enough to try again and if you don’t try again you will never succeed in what you're trying to do. Success is everything in life, we want to accomplish things to feel happy and know we can do something we have never done before. Failing means just try again because everybody can get good at what they are doing. If they keep continuing to fail then maybe they aren’t that good and should try something else. Everybody gets second chances even third, fourth, fifth, and maybe even 100 times to try to succeed. I know that if I fail at something I try again. For example I run track and i tried running distance, i failed and kept trying then I knew I wasn’t good enough so I just continued being a sprinter. Then I started trying discus, it was heavy at first then i tried throwing it. It didn’t work too well but I redid it and succeeded. Everything is about failure also, stop thinking about failing and have your mind on succeeding.

    1. I believe in the same thing she wrote. You don't only have one chance to succeed. You can keep on trying as many times as you want in order to succeed. You just have to believe in yourself and don't give up.

  4. Henry Ford is correct by saying “Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” To me this quote means to try again if you fail but a different way. Just like riding a bike. You fall a lot, which is failure. When you get back up that's your opportunity to go again. Henry Ford made cars so he might have go through some complications through the building process. It probably had some trial and error just to make the engine or make it start. The quote can also go for science. Scientist make a lot of mistakes for an experiment. In science two years ago we did an experiment that included an egg and vinegar. The egg broke for a group when they put it down. It lead to some ideas on how to put the egg down for the group. THe experiment was to put the egg in vinegar for osmosis. The group did that and on the day the shell disintegrated, 3-4 days later, the egg white went all over them. That same day the teacher didn't let them do the experiment again. The opportunity for that group left. The more intelligent thing they should of done was to take it out slowly and not play with it. Henry was right by saying all of this. It did affect our lift by getting second chances

    1. I adhere what nick p is saying in this quote because it is very simliar to mine. Also I liked how he compared it to riding a bike. You don't know how to ride it on your first try. It will take a couple try's but in the end you will get the hang of it. Also I liked your story.

  5. What Henry ford was trying to say was that you learn from your failure so next time you will understand it. When you fail, try to learn from your mistakes and understand the concept of the thing that you failed. Then when you retry it you will understand it and probably ace it. You just have to take the time to study and fix your mistakes. Its like when you take a pre test and you fail because you don't know it. Then when you learn it and it gets taught to you start to understand it. Then when the test comes you should be able to past the test. In 7th grade I failed a quiz in math because I didn't know how to do it. I just had no clue how to do it because I didn't pay attention to the review. The test was in a week and I didn't know how to do it. Then I decided to stay after to understand it so I don't fail the test. Then I stayed after the next two days and it was all starting to make sense. Then when the test came I knew how to do it and then I got a 94% on the test and I got two wrong. Henry quote actually has related to my life and I didn't even know it. I guess this has happened to Henry once in his life.

    3. what hennery ford was trying to say is that failure is just another opportunity to learn from your mistakes and make a better out of everything. we all should live by theses words everyday because not one single person in the world is perfect no matter how good at something they are. for example I would say im good at football butim obviously not perfect. and I made mistakes and I learned from them

  6. Henry Ford once said, "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently." I think that Henry Ford was right. Once you fail, you can see what you did wrong. When you know what you did wrong you can study and try and fix it. It is like when you take a test or quiz and you get a twenty. If you ask your teacher for help then they can try and help you understand the material. Then you can ask to retake the test or quiz and hopefully get a better grade. Last year, I was taking an exam and I didn’t know any of the material. I got a 20 on the exam. I asked my teacher to explain to me what I did not understand. I stayed after almost every day I could and I studied a lot too. The next week, I went into school and took the exam again. I got a 100. My teacher had helped me a lot. Another time that happened was when I had to take a test in 7th grade, it was in pre-algebra and I did not study to prepare before taking the test. Once I was handed the test I gave a blank minded stare. I got a 45. I was grounded for a week. That gave me plenty of time to study. I went back to school and took the test and I doubled my score.
